This paper believes that postdisaster social work force and social work organizations participate in reconstruction of disaster area through a foreign implantation method and play an active role in the reconstruction after disaster of Wenchuan 5.12 Earthquake. Taking an example of five social work organizations experiment established after Sichuan earthquake by China Social Work Association, this paper elaborates connotation and characteristics of the implantation of postdisaster social work organizations, further discusses the role of implanting social work organizations in the reconstruction of disaster area and in the whole social construction cause and their difficulties and, finally, explores and expounds the development strategy of implanting social work organizations in China in the future.
