Abstract:Textile products are pillar industry of China’s national economy and meanwhile are important products to export for foreign currency. After WTO entry, China textile products have more fair competitive opportunities, however, trade protectionism makes many countries establish a series of technical trade barriers, which are seemingly reasonable and legal but restrict the export of China’s textile products. With the abolition of quotas of textile and the arrival of the postquota era, Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) has become the first nontariff barrier that impedes China’s textile products.
