Abstract:Four Generations in One Household, which was created by Lao She in Beibei of Chongqing during the late period of Anti-Japanese War, is a masterpiece of his novel evolution from general art serving Anti-Japanese War to real literature life after he experienced difficult and tortuous labor pain,.However, his wife, Hu Xieqing who came from Peking, filled his shortage of life experience in the areas occupied by Japanese Army and shortened the distance of his memory of his hometown Peking, so that his description in this novel sufficiently shows the pain and struggle of the people in the areas occupied by Japanese Army and the daily life of Peking residents.
