This paper is based on the case study to make analysis and comparison of major curriculum design for hotel management of two institutes in China and Australia from the perspective of talent cultivation level,the source of the students,curriculum arrangement,practice arrangement and so on,reveals the reasons for the differences and points out that China should not mechanically copy the mode of hotel management of Australia but should learn the advanced vocational education experience in the aspects of practice and training.
