The vocabulary of Dunhuang Literature Writings has distinct characteristics and has important sig- nificance to scientifically and systematically constructing Chinese vocabulary.According to this,this paper se- lects ten verbs which express the meaning of“fondle”,analyzes this verb by using limited statistics and com- bination of synchronic and diachronic linguistics,and,based on this,arrives at the conclusion.
