| 成渝地区双城经济圈建设是国家推动一体化发展的重大决策部署。基于2012—2021年成渝地区双城经济圈面板数据，运用基准模型、门槛效应模型和中介效应模型，分析成渝地区双城经济圈人口集聚、产业结构与地区间经济差距三者的相互关系及其作用机制。研究结果表明，人口集聚能显著缩小成渝地区双城经济圈地区间的经济差距；人口集聚对缩小地区间经济差距存在以产业结构为门槛的双门槛效应：当产业结构越过相应门槛值，人口集聚对地区间经济差距的影响越大；人口集聚通过促进产业结构升级的中介渠道缩小地区间的经济差距。研究结论对成渝地区双城经济圈“优化空间布局，推进区域协调发展”、实现“在发展中营造平衡”具有一定借鉴价值。 |

| The construction of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is a major decision and deployment to promote integrated development in China. Based on panel data of the Chengdu Chongqing Economic Circle from 2012 to 2021, this study analyzes the interrelationships among population agglomeration, industrial structure, and regional economic disparities in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, as well as their mechanisms by using the benchmark model, the threshold effect model and the mediating effect model. The research results show that population agglomeration significantly narrows the economic disparities among regions in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. Population agglomeration has a double-threshold effect on reducing regional economic disparities, with industrial structure as the threshold: when the industrial structure exceeds the corresponding threshold values, the impact of population agglomeration on economic disparities among regions is greater. Population agglomeration also narrows regional economic disparities through the mediating channel of promoting industrial structure upgrading. The conclusions of the study provide valuable insights for optimizing spatial layout and promoting coordinated regional development, as well as achieving balanced development in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. |
