      20世纪末,奥尼尔戏剧在经历了三四十年代的译介高潮和五六十年代的低谷期之后,重新出现在中国读者和观众的视野中,并形成了第二次译介高潮。该时期产生的汉译本对中国的文学界、戏剧界以及读者和观众产生了深远的影响。奥尼尔戏剧的汉译本,原文为特殊的文学样式---戏剧,且部分译本被多次搬上舞台,其受众可大致分为读者与观众;按译本实际产生较大影响的标准,又可将读者进一步分为译者和知识界。以译者、知识界和观众的分类,可以对20世纪末奥尼尔戏剧汉译本的接受情况进行全面的考察。
英文摘要:
      After the high tide of translation in the 1930s and the 1940s and the low tide in the 1950s and the 1960s, the translations and plays of the American playwright Eugene O’Neill reappeared in China in the Late Period of the Twentieth Century. In this period, the Chinese translations have made far-reaching impact on Chinese literary circle, dramatic circle, common readers and play audiences. Many of O’Neill plays were not only translated and published, but also put on stage. Thus the audience can be categorized into readers and play audience. With the standard of the factual influence, the readers can be further categorized into translators and the intellectuals. This paper is dedicated to give an all-round inspection of the influence of the Chinese translations in the late period of the twentieth century on the translators, the intellectuals, and the audience.
