Since the founding of new China, the successive Party and National Leadership uphold the guide of Marxism ecological civilization construction theory, explore, develop and actively practice the ecological civilization thoughts of the socialism with Chinese characteristics according to the situation at home and abroad in different times. The theory and practice of ecological civilization construction of Chinese Communist Party experience a continuous deepening process based on the basic national policy from treeplanting forestation to environment protection, from environment protection to sustainable development, from sustainable development to scientific development, and from scientific development to green development. Practically, the achievements in the development and practice of ecological civilization construction thoughts of Chinese Communist Party in such three perspectives as strategic position, construction contents and path and method of ecological civilization construction are discussed.
