| 对麦克尤恩短篇小说《家庭制造》的主题探究主要集中于两个方面，即对青少年成长过程的伦理道德警示和对霸权男性气质的颠覆，而对文本中所体现出的游戏因素一直未能给予足够的重视。“我”与雷蒙德借助于游戏的竞争性、模仿性和虚而非伪性，展开了对生活意义的探寻。然而，“我”与雷蒙德的竞争，获得的只是虚假的胜利；“我”所模仿的咖啡馆世界也只不过是对现实虚构的参照；在过家家游戏中，“我”对妹妹的施暴行为，造成伦理秩序的破坏。因此，“我”想进入成人世界的努力是失败的，只能仍旧生活在徒劳之中。而雷蒙德却真正继承了西绪福斯努力拼搏、不怨不悔的精神，走向摆脱命运困境之路。 |

| Competition for Games，But in Futility：Sisyphus Spirit in McEwan’s Homemade |

| The research on the theme of McEwan’s short story “Homemade” mainly focuses on two aspects, namely, the moral warning of the growing process of teenagers and the subversion of the hegemonic masculinity, while the game factor reflected in the text has not been given enough attention. “I” and Raymond explore the meaning of life with the help of the nature of games: competitive, imitative and virtual but not false. However, “I” and Raymond competition, only to obtain a false victory; the cafe world imitated by “I” is only a reference to the fictional reality. In the game of playing house, “I” is violent to my sister, causing damage to the ethical order. Therefore, my attempts to enter the adult world have failed and I can only live in futility. However, Raymond really inherited Sisyphus’ spirit of fighting hard and never complaining or regretful, and walked towards the road to get rid of the plight of fate. |
