| 在英美两国，社会工作的发展路径是从职业到专业；而中国社会工作的发展则呈现出从专业到职业的特点，这两种发展路径根植于不同的福利传统及历史背景。对于英美国家来说，在从职业到专业的社会工作发展路径中，社会工作的社会认可度相对较高，专业权威性强及独立性较高；而对于中国来说，从专业到职业的社会工作发展路径，则呈现社会工作独立性不强、社会认可度低、专业水平不高等特点。借鉴英美两国社会工作发展的路径，中国社会工作发展目前正在实现专业化和职业化并举，需要政府、社会工作者、高校相互合作推动社会工作发展。 |

| In the Britain and the United States，the path of social work development is from occupation to profession，however，the path of social work development in mainland China is mainly from profession to occupation，these two development paths root in different welfare traditions and historical background.For the path of social work development in Britain and the United States，in the process of development path from occupation to profession，the recognition of social work is relatively high，and has stronger professional authority and higher independence.For the path of social work development in mainland China，in the process of development path from profession to occupation，the independence of social work is not strong，the recognition of social work is low and the professional level of social work is weak.Drawing on the path of social work development between Britain and the United States，the development of social work in mainland China is currently being realized professionally and occupationally，and requires government，social workers and universities to cooperate with each other to promote social work development. |
