| 本文选取东部城市北京和西部城市重庆作为研究对象，借助旅游收入、旅游收入依存度、旅游贡献率、旅游业拉动率、旅游需求收入弹性、旅游业对社会就业的贡献、旅游业对外汇收入的贡献七个指标，研究对比两个城市旅游业对本地经济发展贡献度。研究表明，相对于快速发展期的重庆，已经进入成熟期的北京对区域经济发展的贡献度更大;北京急需产业转型以促进北京旅游业的再次快速发展，重庆可以大力借助旅游业拉动相关产业发展和就业，促进经济发展。 |

| Abstract: |
| The economic development speed between east and middle west regions in China has a great gap.The tourism development speed and development degree is different now, so there must be a gap in the contribution of tourism to regional economic development among different regions.This article selects the eastern city of Beijing and the western city of Chongqing as the research objects, by means of tourism income, tourism revenue dependency, tourism contribution rate, tourism pulling rate, income elasticity of demand of tourism, tourism’s contribution to the social employment, tourism’s contribution to the foreign exchange income，studies and compares the contribution degree of two cities’ tourism to the local economic development.After analysis, it indicates that Beijing, which has entered the mature stage, contributes more to regional economic development than the rapid development period of Chongqing.In addition, it is believed that Beijing is in urgent need of industrial transformation to promote the rapid development of tourism in Beijing.Chongqing can boost the development of related industries and people’s employment through tourism, and promote economic development |
