| 刘声木《桐城文学渊源考》载录了以桐城派为中心的1206位作家的生平，为探寻桐城文派的渊源与流变提供了丰赡的资料。然而，书中所载录的文字阙漏较多，内容涉及作家的名、字、号、里贯、科考、仕宦、著述名称及卷数等方面，并且传记内容时有错讹。通过爬梳载籍，对26位作家的名、字加以考补，对传记中的错讹加以辨正，以补其阙，以正其讹。 |

| Liu Shengmu’s TongChengWenXueYuanYuanKao records 1206 writers’ life of Tongcheng School, providing a rich resource to Tongcheng School’s origin and evolution. However, there are a lot of missing characters in the book, such as the writers’ name, alias, pseudonym, native place, civil service examination, official career, book name and volume and so on. Besides, there are still some mistakes in writers’ biographies. Through the careful research, we can make 26 authors’ school name match the alias and correct the biography’s mistakes. |
