| “草根文化”强调的是文化主体而非文化属性，它在新媒体时代成为“人民文化”的重要形式。精英主义者对草根文化的政治指认是不符合事实的。草根文化作为平民文化具有非精英、平民化、多元化等特征，与媒介变革紧密相关，并不必然走向庸俗文化。从生存论的角度来看，草根文化有利于文化个性的发展、社会正义的诉求、人民群众地位的提高，以及对抗文化利益（集团化）的固化，而对它的引导和扬弃只有建立在深刻把握新媒体信息形成和传播机制的基础上。 |

| Study on the Significance and Worries for Grass roots Culture in New Media Era |

| Abstract: |
| “Grass roots culture” emphasizes the main body of culture rather than the property of culture and has become an important form of “people’s culture” in new media era. Elitist’s political identification on the grassroots culture is not consistent with the facts. Grassroots culture as civilian culture has a non elite, civilian, pluralistic and other features. It is closely related to the changes of media and is not necessarily to become the vulgar culture. From existential perspective, grassroots culture is conducive to the development of cultural individuality, social justice appeal, improvement of the status of the people, and dilution of the solidified cultural interests (collectivization) and so on. Of course, this new culture at the same time has a disadvantage on building the core values of socialism and social culture identity, and even the irrational collective madness and violence of culture may lead to more social worries. It is possible to guide and sublate the new culture only based on deeply mastering new media information formation and transmission mechanism. |
