| 席慕蓉诗与蒙古民族个性及文化心理具有密切关系，质朴、粗犷、豪迈的草原文化特质，与其长期生活的南方环境接触的汉文化交融、互补，构成具有艺术魅力的“陌生化”效果。席慕蓉带有北方游牧民族色彩的事象与新鲜的意象组合，在某种意义上丰富了中国文学的表现方式，同时也使中国文学呈现出某些崭新的当代风格。席慕蓉诗集发行量超过500万册，在台湾和大陆均获得巨大反响，已具30以上年持续不断的影响力，并非如一些评论所称一般意义的“流行”。席慕蓉不但是当代蒙古族辐射最广、影响最大的诗人，也是当代全球有影响力的诗人之一。 |

| Xi Mu rong’s poems, with plain, straightforward and heroic grassland culture characteristics, have close relation with Mongoloid individuality and cultural mentality, are integrated into and complementary to Han nationality culture by the contact with the south of China where she lived for so long and achieve “strange” effect with artistic charming. The combination of Xi Murong’s nomadic people presentation of the north of China with fresh image enriches the expression methods of Chinese literature to some extent and meanwhile makes Chinese literature demonstrate some brand new contemporary style. The circulation of Xi Murong Poetry Anthology exceeds five million which have great response both in Taiwan and mainland China and whose influence lasts 30 consecutive years and is beyond generally “popular” as some commentators said. Xi Murong is not only a Mongoloid poet with most popularization and great influence but also is one of global enthusiastic poets. |
