| 西汉盐铁会议围绕工商业实行官营还是民营的问题，进行了激烈的争论。贤良文学们对工商官营政策进行了尖锐的批判，认为国家实行工商官营破坏了贵义贱利教条，违背了农本工商末观念，且经济绩效低下，带来了各种不良后果。他们强烈要求废除工商官营政策，积极倡导实行工商民营。贤良文学们的主张具有一定的合理性，对于我国当前经济体制改革和宏观经济政策制订，仍不失其历史借鉴价值和启发意义。 |

| Around industrial and commercial implementation of official management or private management issues， there was a heated argument in the policies in Salt Iron Meeting in the Western Han Dynasty. The talented scholars criticised the government run industry and commerce.They thought that the government-run industry and commerce destroyed the doctrine of advocating justice but depreciating benefits ， infringed the concept of emphasis on agriculture but normalizing industry and commerce，made economic performance low and brought about all kinds of bad results. So they strongly urged the abolition of industry and commerce official management policy，actively advocating private business. The proposition of the talented scholars had certain rationality and still has historic reference significance and enlightenment significance to current China’s econmic system reform and macroeconomic policy workout. |
