| As one of the four disciples of Chen Yi, You Cu has his own opinions on the relationship between neo Confucianism and literature. He highly praises simplicity beauty and requires writers to deal with lyrical scale well. One fundamental sequence of his thought is using kindheartedness and justice to specify writers’ emotion and creation, thus it can embody neo confucianist’s unique thought in Song Dynasty. |
