| 我国保险业近年来发展迅速，年均增幅超过了25%，是发展最快的行业之一。然而，各城市之间却存在着严重的发展不平衡；不仅表现在保险规模、保险密度和保险深度上，还表现在保险机构数量上。衡量城市保险发展水平的主要指标包括保费规模、保费规模增长率、保险密度、保险深度、保险机构数量和保险机构总部数量等。而影响城市保险发展的因素众多，其主要因素包括GDP、人口数量及分布、城镇居民人均可支配收入和地理位置等。在整体中西部保险业发展水平落后于东部发达地区的情况下，中西部部分城市的保险业发展水平却并不低。 |

| Empirical analysis of influencing factors of Chinas urban insurance industry development level |

| Abstract: |
| In recent years, Chinas insurance industry develops rapidly, average annual growth surpasses 25 percent and is one of most rapid development industries. However, there is serious unbalance between each city and the unbalance appears in insurance scale, insurance density, insurance extent and the number of insurance agencies. Main indexes which measure urban insurance industry development mainly include insurance fee scale, insurance fee scale growth rate, insurance density, insurance extent, the number of insurance agencies and the number of insurance headquarters. The factors which affect urban insurance development mainly include GDP, population number and distribution, urban residents per capita disposable income and geological location and so on. On the whole, insurance industry development level of west and middle part of China lags behind the east part, however, insurance industry development level in some cities in west and middle part of China is quite good. |
