| 时间信息普遍存在于叙事语篇中。在语篇理解中，时间为阅读者在脑里再现语篇所描述事件提供了重要提示，它也是语篇中标志时间空隙或话题转换的分割标记。没有对叙事时间特征的分析和理解，就不能恰当地理解整个语篇。时间关系、时间位置和时间方向是叙事时间的基本特征。 |

| Abstract: |
| Temporal information is ubiquitous in narrative discourses. During the discourse comprehension time is one significant cue to construct comprehenders’ mental representation of the state of affairs described in a discourse or is a segmentation marker to signal a temporal gap or a topic shift in a discourse. Some expressions may not be properly comprehended without understanding the characteristics of narrative time. Generally speaking, temporal relation, the location process and temporal direction always characterize a discourse. |
