| In modern times,Zhang Zhidong constructed Hubei Reeling Mill,Hubei Fiber Crop Processing Mill,Hubei Weaving Cotton Mill and Hubei Spinning Mill in Wuchang,which were on large scale,with perfected system and magnificent at that time.China was in a state of difficulty both at home and abroad then,and it was very difficult for Zhang Zhidong to raise such huge funds,however,the mismanagement of the funds affected the development of the enterprises. |
