| 党的十六大以来,我们党对社会和谐的认识不断深化,明确了构建社会主义和谐社会在中国特色社会主义事业总体布局中的地位,作出了一系列决策部署,推动和谐社会建设取得新的成效。构建社会主义和谐社会离不开教育。教育是提高国民素质和创新能力的基础。在现代化建设中具有基础性、先导性、全局性的作用。教育的基本功能之一就是促进社会发展。它涉及到社会政治、经济、文化、生态等多个方面。这多个方面,正是我们构建社会主义和谐社会最基本的方面。因此,必须充分发挥学校教育在构建社会主义和谐社会中的政治功能、经济功能、文化功能和生态功能的积极作用。 |

| Since the 16th Central Committee of Chinese Communist Party,the Party continuously deepens its understanding of social harmony,clearly sets the position of construction of socialism harmonious society in to- tal plan of constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics and makes a series of decisive plans in order to make new achievement of harmonious society construction.The construction of socialism harmonious society can not be conducted without education.Education is the basis of promoting Chinese quality and innovative a- bility and has the basic,leading and general role in modernization construction and covers many fields such as society,politics,economy,culture,ecology and so on which are the basic fields for us to construct socialism harmonious society.Thus,the active role of political function,economic function,cultural function and ecolog- ical function of school cducation must be brought into fully play in constructing socialism harmonious society. |
