Abstract:Based on double pressures of severe energy consumption and environmental pollution, this paper suggests to optimize milk-run route for automobile parts of commercial vehicle companies, combines carbon dioxide emission quantity with meeting production needs of automobile manufacturers, selects proper carbon emission calculation model according to the demand of carbon emission of the vehicles, respectively sets up two milk-run route models which one is considering carbon emission milk-run route model based on travel distance and which another one is not, uses genetic algorithm and its basic principle to design the algorithm for solving the models, uses Matlab software for programming, and finally compares and analyzes the two calculation results by considering carbon emission and by not considering carbon emission. The results show that the total length of milk-run route model considering carbon emission is 38 % higher than that of the model not considering carbon emission, but its total cost reduces 16%, and its carbon emission reduction proportion is 1237%. It shows that the milk-run route model considering carbon emission improves the carbon emission and energy consumption of the vehicles with the automobile parts during the process of the transportation, reduces transportation cost of the milk-run route and protects the environment.
