The evaluation of the quality of campus football development in China is based on whether students acquire physical, psychological and technical improvements through participation in football activities. The development of the executive function of students' cognitive ability is studied by football, which provides a theoretical and practical basis for promoting students' development through campus football activities more effectively. Taking the three functions of refresh function, suppression control and conversion function as the research indicators, the data were collected by Stroop, Flanker test and Nback. The data was processed by spss and the performance of football was analyzed.The results showed that there was a significant difference between the students who participated in the football training and those who did not participate in the football training. However, there was no significant difference in the data analysis of the age and player type among the students who also participated in the football training.The results means that the future research should pay more attention to the direct，indirect and mediating effect.
