In order to investigate the status quo of the organizational commitment of physical education （PE） teachers in Chongqings colleges and universities and organization commitment differences at different demographic attributes， this paper uses the organizational commitment questionnaire for college PE teachers to conduct questionnaire survey on 139 PE teachers in Chongqings general colleges and universities and uses SPSS19.0 statistical software to make statistical analysis. The results show that there is significant difference at school identity between male and female teachers， in addition， there is insignificant difference at organizational commitment level and other levels between the teachers， that there is much significant difference in organizational commitment between the PE teachers at different ages and at different education levels， that there is significant difference in school identity between PE teachers at different education background ， however， there is insignificant difference in overall organizational commitment and other levels between the PE teachers.
