《中国少数民族文艺理论集成》是同类著作中内容最丰富的资料汇编。但在从编选体例至具体注释等方面却存在各种误漏。对该书匈奴族后裔刘禹锡部分注释中12处明显误漏作出举正:"失于野"、"汩于浮";"八音与政相通,而文章与时高下";"崔、蔡";"跨跞";"卢、杜""朔风"、"零雨";"不试故艺";"休上人"、"约法师";"支、许之契";"甸服"之"服";"酱蒙药楮";"华绝足"。
