By brief description of urban flood disaster and by review and interpretation of sponge city policies, this paper puts forward the new concept of city construction from grey infrastructure construction to green infrastructure construction, meanwhile analyzes real five contents of New York City green infrastructure construction in the United States based on domestic sponge city construction, and finally gives real suggestions for applicable China’s sponge city construction.
