Through literature analysis,the development history and main research direction of service quality evaluation on the libraries of higher learning institutions at home and abroad are analyzed,the status quo of the researches on library service quality in domestic colleges and universities andthe problems existed in th localization practice of foreign service quality evaluation methods are analyzed and summarized.Finally,based on the comparison of researh and practice level about library service quality of colleges ans universities between China and overseas,research direction and trend analysis is conducted on demestic library service quality researh and practice.
