Ecological footprint theory,as an important tool of quantitative assessment of regional sustainable development,is currently accepted by majority of experts and scholars.Based on related statistical data,this paper analyzes the status quo of Chongqing s ecological carrying capacity.The results show that the ecological footprint of this region is 2.45282 hm2,that the ecological carrying capacity of this region is only 0.270527 hm2 and that ecological deficit of this region is 2.177824 hm2.On the basis of the...
