By using input-output table from 2002 to 2007 and using input-output analysis method,this paper deeply analyzes contribution of Chongqing s industry to economic growth from such six aspects as direct consumption coefficient,complete consumption coefficient,weight influence coefficient,weight response coefficient, standardized synthetic tax coefficient and standardized synthetic labor coefficient.The research shows that Chongqing s industry produces bigger promoting effect on GDP growth in recent years,however,the main obstacles hampering further development of Chongqing's industry are smaller grossses of industrial economy and structure.
