Abstract: In this paper, based on the development of embedded systems technology and Internet technology, according to the characteristics of the use of fixed location, a mining embedded USB camera remote video surveil2 lance system p rogram was p roposed. ARM 9S3C2410 was used in the p rogram for the p rocessor and embedded Linux as a server2side system forUSB camera video data comp ression for the transmission through the Internet to a2 chieve a fixed p lace on the remote video surveillance.
