Abstract: In this paper, the necessity of the use of three dimentionalmodeling during surveying and mapp ing of engineering graphicswas analyzed. In order to train the p ractical ability, the design thinking and team sp irit of the students, the p roject2teaching methodology was p roposed to guide surveying and mapp ing, and the computer aided three dimentionalmodellingwas regarded asmain line. The p ractice shows that this reform of teachingmeth2 od results in good course design, and the students’understanding on the mechanical design was greatly imp roved.
