采拮并梳理了第七届全国音乐美学会议上音乐美学界专家学者的精彩论述,对音乐美学面对风起云涌的当代音乐实践思潮,音乐美学学科应该如何在此风头浪尖巩固和发展自己,拥有自己的话语权,从对象、方法、学科自身、美育等4方面提出了叩问,揭示音乐美学学科在当今面对的困窘,引起对音乐美学学科的关注及促进对其问题的最终解决。
