由于cotes求积公式在实际计算中有较高的精度而被人们广泛采用，对于其误差的估计，现有的文献都是在不加证明的情况下给出一个误差估计式，在此，首先给出了cotes求积公式的代数精度，然后给出了cotes求积公式的误差估计式的严格推导过程。
