Abstract:The fourth scientific and technological revolution represented by artificial intelligence and unmanned technology will have a profound impact on the labor market. How to assess the impact of the new round of scientific and technological revolution on employment is a hot issue of current international academic circles. This paper reviews the latest achievements of international scholars on this issue from such three aspects as employment opportunities, employment structure and labor income distribution. Literature studies show that a new round of scientific and technological revolution will aggravate technical unemployment and polarization of employment and lead to unequal income in the labor market, which is shown by the lower share of labor income and unbalanced internal structure of labor income distribution. On this basis, this paper prospects the direction and trend of future research, in order to fully understand the impact of the new round of scientific and technological revolution on China's employment and give the policies that China should be adopted.
