Under the background of socialism with Chinese characteristics entering into a new era, the supply side structural reform of the economy is the important change of China’s economic development leading China’s New Normal, is the inevitable choice of China’s economy transition from rapid growth to quality development, is the major measure for bigger and stronger real economy, is the necessary gripper to boost consumption to play an important role in the economic development, is the internal impetus of China’s international competitiveness, and is the intrinsic requirement of the basic law of socialism with Chinese characteristics at the new era. Consequently, Chengdu and Chongqing should exploit the urban agglomeration and other major carriers like economic belts to build Chengdu-Chongqing cross-border industry ecosystem zone. In the vast fertile land, Chengdu and Chongqing should carry out supply side structural reform by really conducting business, by acting as a leading role and by practice, in order to make a significant contribution to China’s economic growth quality.
