In the important speech in the discussion forum for specific issues of chief provincial and ministerial leaders on July 26th, 2017, General Secretary Xi Jinping made important strategic judgment for new development period of the socialism with Chinese characteristics. This speech can be understood in such three perspectives as Chinese nation realized the historic leap from standing up, to becoming rich and to becoming strong after experiencing long time crucifixion in China self development perspective, the socialism with Chinese characteristics stands on new historic starting point, in global development progress perspective, after 60 years development of new China, especially 40 years development after reform and opening-up, the development road of socialism with Chinese characteristics continuously demonstrates vitality and opens new state, in modernization perspective, after nearly 40 years of reform and opening-up, especially the continuously struggle since the 18th Meeting of CPC, the socialism with Chinese characteristics not only leads China to conduct modernization construction but also broadens the path for developing countries to realize modernization. We should clarify new task in new development period, sufficiently absorb the historic experience in the socialism construction in the past, uphold road confidence, theory confidence, institutional confidence and cultural confidence, construct socialism with Chinese characteristics on higher level, push forward the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics and finally realize overall rejuvenation of Chinese nation.
