Abstract:Industrial agglomeration is an important environmental factor to affect intellectual creation and spreading and to affect the quality of export products of the enterprises. By using dynamic panel data of 270 cities above prefectural level of China, this paper uses GMM method to examine the effect of manufacturing agglomeration and service industry agglomeration on the quality of export products and the research shows that manufacturing agglomeration has a significant boosting effect on promoting quality of urban export products, that the effect by diversified agglomeration is more obvious than specific agglomeration, that the effect of overall service industry agglomeration is not significant, but only producer service industry has significant impact on the quality of urban export products, that the effect of specialized agglomeration is more obvious than that of diversified agglomeration, however, the agglomeration of consumer service industry and public service industry has no obvious impact on the quality of urban export products. As a result, China should actively lead the enterprises to conduct rational spatial agglomeration, encourage diversified agglomeration in manufacturing industries, and lead the co-agglomeration of producer service industry and manufacturing industry so as to boost the quality of export products of the enterprises.
