Abstract:This paper uses the per capita GDP data of 181 regional units during 2000—2014 to analyze the spatial pattern of economic development and uses spatial econometric model to estimate its spatial effect and policy effect. The result shows that the regional economy development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei has significant difference, that the difference between the north and the south is bigger than that between the east and the west, that club-type spatial agglomeration feature is obvious, that the rich club effect and the poor club effect coexist simultaneously, that geographical location, early development level and spatial correlation have direct influence on regional unit economy growth, however, policy effect shows heterogeneity, and that the policy effect before 2014 has boosting effect on the economic growth of Beijing and Tianjin but restricts the economic growth of Hebei on certain degree. In order to overall promote the collaborative development of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, the important point is to narrow regional economy difference, especially, to in detail make regional development policy of Hebei, to strengthen the radiating and driving effect of the economy of coastal areas, to accelerate the infrastructure construction, and to promote rapid development of the central and the south of Hebei from slow development.
