Abstract:Currently, because labor force market is divided int o urban market and rural market, there are many p roblems for Chongqing peasant - workers t o work and live in cities . With regard t o emp l oyment, the peasant - workers have l ow emp l oyment level, and the enter p riseswhich emp l oy the peasant - workers do not have standard working andmanaging norms, and their emp l oying training and management lag behind and their emp l oyment channels are not in good conditi on and their working agents behavi ors are not standardized and s o on . With regard to accommodation, their living apart ment has small areas and has bad envir onment and has l ow satisfacti on degree . The peasant - workers need cheaper renting apart ments but they do not have the infor mati on about the apart ments .The peasant - workers have str ong intenti on t o live in a city but they do not have the ability t o rent an apart ment . The housing insurancepolicy for the peasant - workers is not perfected and their children have big barrier t o go t o school in the cities . The instituti onal environment should be optimized for the peasant - workers t o work and live in the cities .
