Taking Zhongxian County of Chongqing as an example,this paper points out that reorganizing rural residential areas can increase the amount of cultivated land,improve the living condition of the peasants,promote living quality of the peasants,optimize allocation of rural residential areas,realize clean and tidy appearance of the villages and effectively promote new village development.
