This paper collected data of Shanxi Province from 1984 to 2003 and uses multiple variables VAR system to analyze the data. The results reveal that financial development of Shanxi Province does not promote economic growth but economic growth promoted financial agent scale, efficiency and structure change. Favorable interaction has formed between private financial enterprises and private industrial enterprises in the province.
