This paper introduces methods to use financial policy to promote regional economic coordinate development in Europe and the United States and summarizes their experience and enlightenments such as formulation of economic development strategy which accords with the reality, availing of the opportunity of infrastructure and human resources exploitation and cultivation of innovation ability in backward regions and sustainable development.
