Abstract:The middle China, consisting of eight provinces, faces an increasing challenge of regional development under the development circumstance from east to west and from north to south. As a result, an economic gap is growing between the middle and the east recently. From a perspective of new ideas on development, the paper sheds light on making several significant changes to the middle developmental strategies with respect to market reform, private economy, human resource and open policies and so on in order to reduce the broad regional gap.
