The establishing of an efficient, transparent, practical and information-based government has become one of the important factors that a nation or a region needs in the competition of globalization, and it is also an irresistible trend for the young municipality of western region, Chongqing's e-government development. The essay first analyzes the actuality of Chongqing's e-government, then generalizes two main problems of Chongqing's e-government at present: "Digital Divide" and "Information Island". The essay also propounds some feasible developmental strategies from "one transition, two integration and three exploitation" for short. So, it will provide some referential suggestions for Chongqing to establish an efficient, practical and ministrant government.
