Yangtze River delta area is biggest and strongest economic area in China's coastal area. In order to propel regional economic development of the area, consolidation of cooperation, coordination and integration is needed. Based on developmental advantage, characteristics and favorable factors, this paper discusses problems and reasons in regional economic cooperation and integration and points out cooperation and integration mechanism and countermeasures and important fields for the area.
