At present, the development of processing trade abroad in western areas is rather slow. Promoting processing trade abroad can help increase in export and upgrade industrial structure, encourage internationalized operation of western enterprises and implement quality strategy of export trade. Besides, western regions have their own comparative advantages, so they should and are able to promote processing trade abroad if relevant government policies can be adjusted properly.
