Abundant resources are stored in the provincial border regions. But, the most apparent characteristics there are lacking of development, coordination and sustained development. "Effect of administrative border regions economy" exists there. For the aim to study the basis characteristic of the economic activities of provincial border regions, this paper chooses three types of provincial border regional areas just based on defining the meanings and range of border areas and provides some basis for improving economic development of the provincial border regions.
