本文首先分析了西部地区集装箱运输发展面临的三大形势，即西部大开发、我国已经加入WTO和集装箱运输的第四次革命，然后从六个方面探讨了西部地区集装箱运输发展的制约因素，最后提出了西部地区集装箱运输进一步发展应采取的十大对策。

Abstract:

This paper analyzes three trends of container transportation in th e west, western development, container transportation and WTO entry, discusses r estriction factors to further develop container transportation from six aspects and presents ten countermeasures.
