Abstract:This paper studies the spatial network correlation structure of regional economy in Bohai Rim during 1995-2014 by network analysis method, and the research finds that the spatial network correlation feature of regional economy in Bohai Rim is significant, that the network consists of two sub-networks such as Liaoning and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-Shandong, that the network density stably rises but is still relatively low, that the proportion of the economy in core areas declines but is still big, that the network efficiency tends to decline in the volatility, and that the spatial spillover effect trends to be obvious. The nine regional central cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Jinan and so on belong to the “main beneficial” plate; the 19 cities such as Shijiazhuang, Baoding, Weifang etc. belong to the “agent” plate; the four cities such as Shenyang, Dalian, Anshan and so on belong to a "bidirectional overflow" plate; however, the 12 cities such as Qinhuangdao, Chengde, Huludao and so on belong to “net-spillover” plate. The transition and upgrading of industrial structure and the control of FDI regional discrepancy as well as active investment diversification and so on are helpful to the spatial correlation of regional economy in Bohai Rim. The regional economic correlation pathway should be constructed by multiple paths, the ring-shaped network economy should be built, and the regional economic spatial correlation should be strengthened via industrial transition and upgrading as well as economic diversification.
