Abstract:The social inclusion of the migrant workers is a multiple-dimension concept and does not only mean the process in integrating into the city but implies the process in the interactive acceptance and approval between the migrant workers and urban residents. The measurement of the social inclusion of the migrant workers should be conducted on urban level and individual level, the social inclusion on urban level includes two aspects, i.e., policy inclusion is to measure the social inclusion condition based on the policy related to the migrant workers and the cities and the overall inclusion is to measure the social inclusion situation based on the total migrant workers in the entire city, however, the social inclusion on individual level should not only consider subjective feeling and evaluation of the migrant workers but also examine the objective integration situation of the migrant workers. Thus, the evaluation index system of the Social Inclusion of the Migrant Workers should be constructed from such three aspects as Urban Integration Policy Index of the Migrant Workers, the Overall Index of the Social Inclusion of the Migrant Workers and the Individual Index of the Social Inclusion of the Migrant Workers.
