The main factors for restricting Chongqing's service industry development have low marketability degree,monopoly-business's restricting service industry development level,slow urbanization development,weak demand basis,extensive-type expansion of manufacturing industry,small investment in production-type service industry,big gap between urban-rural residents' income and consumption,difficulty in vitalizing consumption of low income group,backward agent-service industry,misunderstanding the situation and incomplete system.Chongqing should pay attention to development of production service industry,actively develop living service industry,overall promote traditional service industry,cultivate modern service industry and create good environment for service industry development.
